Become a Volunteer Tutor
Join our team at Literacy of Northern New York and become a volunteer tutor. You will help an adult improve reading, math or English language skills. The training is online - You meet in person with our staff for a Pre-session, then complete your chosen module. You then meet again for a final Post-session. The training can be done on your schedule. After completion, you are matched with a student and we provide the materials. You meet in public places for tutoring sessions. There is no cost! You can register and take the training anytime.
