Literacy of Northern New York, Inc. is a volunteer-driven agency providing free tutoring services in Jefferson and Lewis counties, empowering adults toward employment, independence, and opportunity.

Confidential, learner-focused literacy services provided by trained volunteers provide education to English and non-English speaking adults so they can reach their goals and succeed in their communities.

Vision Statement

Through the use of volunteer tutoring, we will foster a community of adult lifelong learners who have the opportunity to flourish and perform at their highest potential.
